About Dr. Ramsey Amin

Dr. Ramsey Amin maintains a referral practice limited to implant dentistry, both surgical and restorative. He also performs all implant related procedures such as bone replacement grafting and complex implant reconstructions. In addition, he is specially trained and licensed to offer IV sedation for the comfort of all patients who desire this service. Dr. Amin performs hundreds of implant and bone graft procedures per year making him a local resource for referring dentists. As for Dr. Amin, it's not about placing hundreds of implants a year, it's about placing a single implant flawlessly, and repeating that process every time with the care that each patient deserves.

His compassion, enthusiasm and passion for implant dentistry sets him apart from his peers. His philosophy of treatment is to genuinely treat all patients like he would treat his own family. Because Dr. Amin loves what he does, his standards are very high which translates into precision dentistry.

As an active member of the International College of Oral Implantologists, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, he attends all of the major yearly implant meetings. This allows him to remain current on all the new research and constant advances in implant dentistry. On a local level, he holds lecture and hands-on implant CE courses in his office which local doctors and staff are invited to attend throughout the year.

Dr. Ramsey Amin is a native of Burbank who graduated second in his class from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry with high honors (OKU). He then completed a formal two-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Anesthesia at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. It is this formal training that allows Dr. Amin to perform dental implantology, bone grafting and IV sedation. He is also a clinical instructor at UCLA, teaching sedation and surgery. In addition, Dr. Amin is also an examiner for the California State Board for IV anesthesia. He maintains active membership in the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the International College of Oral Implantologists. Currently he is currently working toward Diplomat status in the American Board of Oral Implantology. Dr. Amin travels the country completing approximately 75 CE units per year dedicated solely to implant dentistry. He is also trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), the highest level of CPR. Dr. Ramsey Amin has structured his practice around his passion for dental implants and their related procedures. Dr. Amin also is a speaker for the world’s leading dental implant manufacturer, Nobel Biocare.  Dr. Amin also serves on the Board of Directors of the Burbank Chamber of Commerce.

In his free time, Dr. Amin enjoys deep sea fishing, skiing and dining out. He lives in the area with his wife Tara, their daughter, Ava, and their yellow Labrador, Bentley.
